A modern day alternative to moving goods between China and Mainland Europe by deep sea shipping or Scheduled Air Cargo is via the ‘New Silk Roads’.
Today, various rail networks have emerged connecting Europe and China offering a viable alternative to conventional deep sea shipping and air freight.
Cargo in any form, cartons, pallets, part loads and full ISO containers can be collected from anywhere in China, consolidated and loaded on block trains for regularly scheduled departures ex China arriving in Germany or Poland 18-22 days later where the cargo can be cleared and arrangements made for on shipment.
This method of transport is growing in popularity because of its reliability, security and economical benefits and is exceptionally popular with shippers of chemicals, clothes and other fast moving consumer goods.
